In 1978, Lic. Mario Leonel Velasco López, started a company dedicated to keeping external accounting, called OFICSA, S.A. As a requirement from our clients in 1988 the firm Velasco López & Asociados, CPA was founded with the purpose of offering services on Auditing, Accounting, Financial and Management Systematization. The professional career of its founder, more than 40 years of experience, allowed him to guide as a tool for business or institutional executives to make sound decisions according to the company’s services of Auditing, Fiscal, Administrative and Financial Consulting. In 1995, the firm Velasco, Sarat & Asociados, S.C. was founded to add the Fiscal and Legal Consulting division. Derived from a business reorganization, Velasco & Asociados was founded in 2014, updating certain business strategies.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Velasco & Asociados is managed by a Board of Partners, who select our professional staff after a careful process of high standards, competing at a national and international level, people with studies in Guatemala and abroad. We have training programs, with minimum annual hours of participation in courses specially prepared for each one of the different levels of auditing, accounting, fiscal, financial and administrative systems.
